Those are about the only cons I could come up with. This has only happened a couple of times, so I am not that concerned. Powering the monitor off/on again fixes this problem. Sometimes when my system wakes from sleep mode the screen will be "all out of whack". I am using 1 of them in a 2 monitor setup for 1 system and the other is going thru a KVM switch for 2 other systems and I could not be happier.Ĭons: 1 of the 2 monitors that I purchased does not tilt as well as the other. They are no means surround sound quality but for such a low price I did not expect wonders. The speakers are pretty good compared to the 18"5 version of this monitor. That was too good a deal to pass up so I bought 2 of them. There was a 72 hour price drop during which time the price went to $120 with free shipping. Pros: Screen clarity, speakers, brightness and overall quality. HANNS G MONITOR TROUBLESHOOTING UPDATE
Hope this helps until a real windows update actually fixes our problems.Learn more about the Hanns-G HH201HPB Model Brand Pick a screen saver and make sure its enabled. If you dont know where it is just google it.Ĥ. Find the "ask me anything" AKA Cortana icon. "Burn in" is when a static image is displayedįor hours and day at a time and the pixels get screwed up and the image that was projected messes up your display. I would also recommend making sure you have a screen saver on as you do not want the same image on your screen during non use, not sure if newer monitors are impervious to "burn in" but I wouldnt want to chance it. Change both settings for screen and sleep to "never" To stop the computer from going into these power saving modes do thisĥ.

Maybe doing this for awhile will give Microsoft time to fix all the problems most of us are having Understand this isnt really a fix but maybe by having the computer stop going into hibernation mode and powering down the monitor you wont have to replug it in. It sounds like when your having the issue is when you go and "wake up" the computer.

If it does tell you that you have the latest installed I would suggest try turning off the setting which puts your monitor to sleep after a prolonged period of non-use.

HANNS G MONITOR TROUBLESHOOTING DRIVERS
Anyways none of these websites offer drivers for software updates All I could find was a company called Hannstar. I too have a HANNS-G monitor, I use a 28'' monitor and you are correct the HANNS-G and Hannspree companies do not seem to be in buisness anymore.
